What's an Ampersand?

Someone with a real career and a real creative practice. The CFO & filmmaker. The lawyer & cellist. The marketer & children's book author.

  • You dread "So, what do you do?" because there's more than one true answer.
  • Your calendar has two lives in it, and you're tired of keeping them in separate rooms.
  • You want your creative work taken seriously: made, shown, and maybe even paid.

Questions

Before you ask

What happens after I join the waitlist?

You'll get occasional emails about open events and a heads-up before applications open. Nothing else, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

I don't have time for another community.

The rituals are low-lift and drop-in, and this is one place where you can show up as your whole self instead of splitting across two.

Am I "creative enough," or far enough along?

Members are at every stage, from people returning to a practice after years away to working artists with shows and books. Shared values matter more than credentials.

What does it cost?

Joining the waitlist is free. Membership is currently $39 a month or $399 a year, and 2027 pricing goes to the waitlist before enrollment opens.

Is this another online group I'll never open?

There's real weekly activity, from wins threads to member spotlights, plus in-person nights where people are still talking on the sidewalk after the lights go off.

Know an Ampersand?

Send this to the person who came to mind.

Most of our members found us through a friend. When they sign up, they can list you as the person who sent them.

If this sounds like you, you're an Ampersand.
